The US Army Finance and Comptroller community recently launched a new podcast designed to keep FC professionals across the Army informed and engaged.
The first two episodes of “At Your Service” were made available through the Department of Defense Information Security Service, or DVIDS, on Sept. 24, and can be found wherever listeners find their podcasts.
“This is a great way to reach our Financial and Executive community around the world, wherever they are,” said Col. Rob Le’iato, director of the US Army Finance School and Commandant of the School. “They can listen when they have the chance and stay up to date with what’s going on with the Army’s financial system.”
Episodes 1 and 2 are abridged versions of the Accountant and Commander Series and feature Army G Invoice and Soldier career progression.
Future episodes will add to FCPS with exciting news, leader information, personal features and more from the active-duty Army as well as the Army and National Guard.
“It’s really about closing the communication gaps across the full command of the Army financial system to ensure that we’re providing the right resources and funding where our Army leaders, and ultimately, our Soldiers in the field need to do their jobs,” said Col. Kevin. D. Pierce, chief of staff for the United States Army Financial Services.
“The communications teams here at USAFMCOM, the schoolhouse, and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Command are truly committed to telling the stories of our FC Soldiers and military personnel of the Department of the Army in a way that brings each other,” added Pierce.
